Getting to Bermuda

Bermuda can be reached in less than three hours with over 20 direct flights from most Northern and Southern US states.

Prior to landing in Bermuda we suggest filling out the required Bermuda Arrival Card to expedite your process in Bermuda customs. Once you complete your arrival form, you will receive email confirmation to present to the border agents upon landing.

Transportation on Island

U.S citizens cannot rent traditional four wheeled gas cars in Bermuda. However, tourists can rent small electric two seater microcars (ANAIG QUICK, Bentu, Mini Max) are a few rental options. 

*Please be advised that driving is on the left side of the road, and the max speed limit is typically 15-20 mph island wide. 

*If you choose to rent the electric two-seater microcars it will be best used for day trips and exploring the island as there is limited space for baggage and other essentials you may be traveling with.

*We strongly advise and kindly ask that all of our friends and family joining us in Bermuda avoid renting mopeds, e-bikes, and scooters. Roads in Bermuda are notoriously narrow, winding, and mostly bordered by stone walls making it extremely dangerous.

If you choose to take a taxi from the airport (which are readily available when exiting the airport) to Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa please be aware that most taxi drivers only accept cash. A taxi ride from the airport to the resort is about $70 USD or Bermudan Dollars (this is the longest possible drive/trip across the island from the airport which is about 45-50 minutes and 19 miles).

The team at Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa will send a pre-arrival email out to all guests, and there will be a note about pre-arranging transportation through the hotel, if that is preferred instead.

  • The currency is equal in exchange and USD are accepted throughout Bermuda.

    Stay and Accommodations

    We have reserved a block of rooms at our wedding venue - Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa. A three night minimum stay is required when booking in our room block. If you choose to stay elsewhere we have provided a list of alternative resorts that we recommend and the distance from our venue.

    Hamilton Princess & Beach Club - 12.8 miles (35 minute drive)

    The Loren Bermuda - 15.3 miles (38 minute drive)

    The Reefs-5.9 miles (15 minute drive)

    Coco Reef Bermuda - 10.8 miles (27 minute drive)

    St. Regis Bermuda - 22.3 miles (56 minute drive)

    Please note there are many options of short term beach front rentals in Bermuda that can be booked through Airbnb and Vrbo.
